Who are they . . ? |
Wyatt & Fletcher Shears, twins, were born October 28th, 1993. Their music career started at 17-18 y/o in 2011. The Garden's musical career began in Orange County, California. They then got a record deal with Burger Records, but later split from them and resigned to Epitaph Records. |
Experimental Projects/Side Projects
Wyatt & Fletcher both have their own "side projects", that are actually just their personal labels. "Enjoy" is Wyatt's personal side project and "Puzzle" is Fletcher's. Since they are more commonly and more open to the public to be just known as ''The Garden'', there isn't many sources that associate them with only their personal experimental projects.
What is ''Vada Vada'' . . ? |
''Vada Vada'' Is a term that represents total freedom of expression without boundaries or guidelines of any sort. This term was made by Wyatt & Fletcher Shears. The song ''Vada Vada'' is also the 3rd track on their ´´The LIfe and TImes of a Paperclip´´ album. (It´s very short) |
Well . . . Why are they called ''The Garden'' . . ? |
Wyatt & Fletcher thought of the band title ''The Garden'' based off of the metaphor of their music adapting and evolving, or even ''growing''. |
The Garden's Record Label(s) |
The Garden twins got a record label with Burger Records in 2012, however, in 2020, they started they would be ''cutting all ties with Burger Records forever.'' The Garden had signed another record label with Epitaph back in 2015, so they didn't have to find another record label. They cut ties with Burger Records due to them being involved with ''several sexual misconduct allegations.'' The Garden had no choice but to disassociate themselves with Burger Records for the sake of their reputation. More information on this is in the 2020 section of the timeline. |
Burger Records did make an apology to the public, but that didn't stop artists and fans of the bands formerly associated with Burger Records from criticizing them. Other than the apology, Burger Records never addressed any of the rest of these accusations, and all of their social platforms seemed to be deleted. They defunct in July 2020.
